We take the Word of God seriously here and have been preparing all summer (and honestly, over the last year) for this upcoming study. Our desire is for women to grow in their understanding of and relationship with God as they interact with His Word.
Women’s Bible Study is also a great time for fellowship with other women as you share what God is teaching you and pray for each other. The small groups are a wonderful blend of younger and older women who have so much to offer each other.
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey or stage of life, you are welcome here.
We sincerely hope that through Women’s Bible Study you will engage with the Scriptures like never before and come away with a new understanding of God’s Word and the gospel.
Who is Jesus? A study through the Gospel of Mark
We will spend the year following along with Jesus and his disciples, encountering many different responses to Jesus and his life on this earth as he ushers in the Kingdom of God and makes reconciliation with God possible. Ultimately, we will find ourselves confronted with the questions, “Who is Jesus?” and “Why does that matter?”.
If you are local and can join us in person, we meet Thursday mornings, starting September 14th, from 9:30 to 11:30 at Hinson Baptist Church. Cost: $35. Childcare is available through Thursday Kids, registration required. A registration table will be set up on Sundays in the Welcome Center for the next few weeks.
If you are local, but unable to attend this study, we encourage you to check out the other options available at Hinson by going to their website and looking at the Women’s Ministry page.
If you are NOT local, but still want to follow along, comment below and let us know. If you are interested in getting a copy of the study guide we will be using, we can discuss options.
Regardless of which option fits best for you, be sure to follow this blog by clicking on the link to the right, and get notified via e-mail whenever a new post goes live.
As always, our desire is that God would be glorified greatly as we pursue him together through the study of his Word. We look forward with great anticipation to what he will accomplish in us this year.

(PS – thank you to the women who beta-tested this study guide for us last year! Your feedback has been so helpful as we have worked through the editing process!)
